I've got a clock-radio with a built in CD player that I picked up on eBay when my previous clock radio became unreliable. I wouldn't recommend the particular model, because the controls are really counter-intuitive, and the CD player has gone tits up, but I do like the idea. I've also been giving some thought to switching over to a retro-styled straight up alarm clock -- the L.L. Bean version of the Art Deco Moon Beam alarm clock.
