Prachi Gupta is incredulous that anybody as famous as George RailRoad Martin is still using LiveJournal, "the outdated blogging platform most often associated with teens from 2004." And Martin isn't the only one stuck in the past!

It just goes to show how much I've changed over the years that I'm now okay with being in touch with my inner teen. It wasn't always so.

I know that everyone says that LJ is dead. But I still see plenty of traffic here, the traffic that I want, and I've got 10 years invested here. I'm not going to give it up to the next fad.

The funny thing is that I didn't start my LJ until 2005, which was apparently after it was already dead. Late adopter, that's me. Or maybe LJ was just a natural part of the zombie era.

I dunno, I think the use of photocopying makes it more a '70s technology, but I suppose the form is from the '30s.
