It seemed somewhat smaller than September's party. It never reached that moment when the kitchen was wall-to-wall people and cacophony. Still, it was a good group, and thanks to paulcarp for bringing some friends. They seemed to fit right in. Thanks to him for the Negra Modelo, too. And thanks to farmgirl1146 for the box of organic garlic that she grew on her very own farm.

Despite the lower turn out, the basement smoking party continued until after 2am. It may have even been 3 before I finally kicked carl and Scott out. I'd say that I'm too old for this shit, but I'm actually feeling halfway decent after two cups of coffee. Not that I'm moving real fast, mind you.

Wish I could have been there. You and Denys always have the bestest parties. Spin any Roy Harper through the smoke? Still get comments on your framed Little, Big poster? Asking reminds me that small parts of me were there, however quietly or invisibly.

Hey, you were indeed here, as always, although I heard no comments on the poster (perhaps because I never made it out to the livingroom) and played a subset of the music on my hard drive on shuffle that did not include any Roy Harper, which I have not yet ripped to my hard drive.

Absolutely a pleasure to be there. The last time I was at your house, you were not (during Worldcon in 2005; the 25th anniversary Vanguard).

We stayed at Hank's last night, so I got to see Chunga 15, and you at, what, 15? 17? on the cover. Wowza.
