I'm surprised you heard anything about my fabled hair-dos, because I had pretty much stopped all that by the time I started working at the U. On the other hand, I was still wearing my biker jacket, and Virjean told me years later that when I first showed up for my temp assignment, she thought, "Oh god, what has the Steno Pool sent me this time!" Of course, a few years after that, we hired a guy who actually rides a Harley. How things change!
