Gone to Oregon

In a few hours I'll be off to Central Oregon to spend Christmas weekend with my family. I still need to pack. Presents for niece and nephews, a copy of FLOSS 5 for my brother (laserprinted -- I still haven't made copies for general North American distribution), and three bottles of wine, including a bottle of that very nice Washington syrah that we drank at surliminal's flat in August. (Probably should have gotten two bottles of that!) Hope to buy a bottle of Glenmorangie at the dutyfree shop at the airport. Looking forward to cioppino on Christmas Eve and prime rib on Christmas. Alas, it appears there will be no snow in Central Oregon, although that will certainly make travel easier.

To those who of you who celebrate Christmas I wish you a merry one. For those of you who don't, I hope you have a great weekend. We can all be thankful that this crazy Christmas stuff is almost over!

I'll be back Sunday evening, with a day off on Monday ahead of me. Woohoo!
