One seat in the House that the Democrats could take

Washington State's 8th Congressional District is currently represented by Republican Dave Reichert. The consensus seems to be that he's vulnerable, and that the Democrats are fielding a strong candidate in Darcy Burner. The Stranger has a profile of Burner this week. The story was also blogged at HorsesAss.org, a blog I'd been meaning to check out for a while and that has a nice mix of local and national political coverage. One of the things the article mentions is that the Democrats are hoping to raise money for the race in safe Democratic districts like, well, mine. I'm not sure I've ever given money to a political candidate, but I may start here. Burner sounds good.
