As I'm sure I've mentioned before, my niece is getting married in July, and she and her fiance have asked me to conduct the ceremony. This weekend they found some text that they approved of and handed it over to me. I'll work it over to try to personalize it a bit. "Welcome, everyone, to this happy occasion. It seems perverse for someone who has never been married to conduct a wedding ceremony, but I guess the Catholics do it all the time." [rimshot]

My nephew started calling me the Reverandy. Hm, quite a few resonances in there, now that I look at it. I like rĂªve-randy in particular!

Anyway, one of the things I have to do in preparation for the wedding is get myself a suit. Where should I look for a nice suit in Seattle? My default idea seems to be Nordstrom's, but perhaps I have Friends with better ideas. Also, what kind of suit should I look for? Ideally, it would be something that looks good on a wedding officiant but would also work in other contexts. (Note that my mom wishes I'd wear a robe, but I just can't see it.)
