Interviewed

wrdnrd, I've just been interviewed by the editor of University Week about the Science-Fiction Five-Yearly Hugo. UWeek is a university (not a student) newspaper. I did my best to explain fandom, fanzines, conventions, Hugos, the history of SFFY, Lee Hoffman, and ghu knows what else. I'm so adrenalated I can hardly sit still. She'll send me a copy of what she writes before anything is published. She also wants to arrange a photograph of me with a copy of the zine. They did a great job on a recent profile of another UW employee, Neile Graham -- a poet who also has connections to the local SF community -- so I'm hopeful that she'll turn my gibbering into something sensible.
Jeebus, I don't think I needed this cup of coffee. I'm on the ceiling already. Help me, mommy! I can't get down!
