Here and gone

Had another Chungatorial meeting chez HoopeRoot last night. The issue has begun to ferment quite nicely. There's always a point at which an issue begins to assert its character, usually as the art starts to come in. Or perhaps it's just that we have a first (very rough) proof to look at and mark up. We also have two of the three covers now. Yeah, this issue is so chunky it needs three covers. Also another fannish revenant has stirred to life again. It's scary, but exciting.

Speaking of which, tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn I'm heading north to Vancouver to pick up Sharee and her mom and transport them to Vancouver Island. The plan at this point is that I'll return to Seattle on Thursday. What happens in between is completely up in the air, although there's a reservation at the Hôtel des Rêves Empress Hotel in Victoria somewhere there in the middle of that stretch that could be taken advantage of. Dunno if I'll even be looking at my e-mail at any point, so please just talk quietly amongst yourselves.

Now back to making a list and checking it twice.
