It always rains on Election Day
Nov. 4th, 2008 07:21 amWhen I was still going to the polls to vote (instead of voting absentee, as I do now), it always seemed that it was raining. Today is no different. It's another blustery Election Day. My sniffling has turned into a hacking cough, so I'm staying home today to watch history being made. I sent in my absentee ballot long ago, so I'll be keeping my powder dry. Come on, America, do the right thing!
ETA: Holy cow! Tremayne at Open Left reports that Gallup is predicting a 64% turnout for the election this year, which would be the highest percentage since 1960.
