So a set-back for gay rights in California, Arizona, Florida, and Arkansas. We still have Massachusetts and Connecticut as states with marriage equality. I assume the strategy is to continue slogging it out state-by-state? Is there going to be any push at the Federal level now that we have a Democratic administration and an increased Democratic majority in Congress? I seem to recall that one thing that came up in the Democratic primaries was the possibility of repealing DOMA and revisiting Don't Ask Don't Tell (which even the military seems ready to reconsider).

ETA: Just saw on Making Light that the New York State Senate just went Democratic and that this likely means marriage equality will be coming to New York.
