On top of the world
Apr. 23rd, 2015 09:10 amThanks to
daveon, who has a membership in the Columbia Tower Club, I finally made it to the top of the Columbia Center, fondly known locally as Selig's Phallus, since it was built by a man by the name of Martin Selig. At 76 stories it's the tallest building in Seattle, and it was completed in January 1985, pretty much exactly a year after I moved here. The views are spectacular, and the food is quite nice. Dave and I chewed over the Hugos brouhaha and the prospects of venture capital. A lovely evening. Thanks, Dave!
