I'm still working on seeing everything of his myself. I've only recently realized that he made a couple of comedies in France in the early '30s before coming to the US later in the decade. He mostly made short documentaries and educational films here until he got his first crack at features with a couple of Nick Carter films starting in 1939.

Not that everything he made is worth seeing. He made a couple of films at AIP at the end of his career that are pretty much just plain terrible. On the other hand, he also did an episode of Twilight Zone called "Night Call" that I just saw that is utterly terrific.
