Now the Chou, seeing the disorder of the Yin, have seized the administration. They conspire with those on high and circulate bribes to those below. They presume upon their troops to preserve their majesty. They slaughter sacrificial animals and make covenants to demonstrate their faith. They flaunt their deeds to please the masses. They kill and attack in their desire for gain. This is to displace disorder by exchanging it for tyranny.
