I can testify from experience that radiation makes the area red & sore, uncomfortable but not extremely painful. Chemo, I understand, is rather worse. I don't know about the combination of them. They'll probably prohibit you from drinking beers. But will encourage eating hash brownies, so the clouds are not without a bit of silver. Meanwhile, we'll all Hope (& pretend) as hard as we can.
