Well, I seem to be into a Dylan-loving phase. Just read Greil Marcus' _Invisible Republic_ about the Basement Tapes; listened to Dylan's autobiography _Chronicles vol 1_; borrowed/stole his 90's output. I sort of understand why some of my friends find his voice unattractive; but I do.

Well, you should definitely check out the movie, which has a lot of his music (not all, or even mostly, performed by him) and an interesting exploration of the many myths and ideas and stories and contradictory claims that surround him. Not sure it can all be absorbed in one viewing.
