Okay, it looks like she has booked a flight to Vancouver for this coming Saturday. That much of the plan is now more or less established. I've offered to pick her up at the airport and drive her to her mom's place on Vancouver Island. We'll see where things go from here, but she says she still wants to go to the Montreal Worldcon in August. Mostly, of course, she wants to spend time with her mom for however long she's got. I'm really glad that's going to happen.

Well, I've offered the transportation, but she hasn't actually taken me up on it yet. She may not need any help with that, for all I know.
