Another word I don't like

I kind of just don't like the cutesiness of the word itself, but it's probably the concept that bugs me even more. It's two dudes, and they, like, love each other. Whoa! Kinda cute, and kinda awkward.
I dunno. It seems smug andnarcissistic adolescent to me. Am I just getting old and cranky? I really don't like those ear stretchers that bohemian guys are wearing these days either. They just look ugly to me. Perhaps my worst nightmare right now is a bromance about two twenty-something dudes with ear stretchers. On a staycation together.
