Which just goes to show that even looking at the Hugo results is a bad thing. I'm so glad there's no chance of me ever being nominated, who in their right mind would wish to sit amongst such company?

seriously, it's a voted for award and it'll always have odd results. I'm not sure that devalues the Award any.

Personally I have some sympathy for Nials position on some of the results and I still seethe about The Sparrow and Jonathon Strange and blah...

Oh thank you for implying in your first sentence that my opinion is so crazed and unreasonable that I require special handling. Still, such behaviour seems pretty consistent with what else I've seen of your writing so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised

Firstly, lighten the hell up. If you had actually read anything I've written you'd know that my tounge is fairly firmly stuck in my cheek. A dry quite sarcastic sense of humour being something of a British trait.

Second, I implied no such damn thing. I thought that Randy as a recentish Hugo winner might have a view on your position on the award and what it means to be in such company!
