Stuck in Toronto

Well, the plane from Montreal to Toronto was delayed by weather, so I missed my flight to Seattle. I'm booked for a flight tomorrow morning now, and I'm ensconced in the Toronto Airport Hilton.

It has been a difficult day. It was harder than I expected to say goodbye to Sharee. We may not be a couple any more, but the emotional bond is still powerful. She'd be a good person to have around when plans go awry like this, too.

Well, hope I get home tomorrow. I'm beat.

I had less than 45 minutes to make a change at Atlanta and wasn't sure if I'd make it. I did but had a nightmare I'd be stuck overnight.

Of course it did mean I didn't have to wait until after I picked you up at the airport to indulge myself, so there's always, you know, that silver lining.

Yeah, one of the scenarios I had entertained was that the flight to Seattle would be delayed long enough for me to catch it, but that would have meant you would have had to stay up later, so it's probably just as well.
