A friend of mine once just painted the west side of their house. It was significantly more weathered than the rest of the house. They were very, very careful at the edges. ;^)
It's true, a hard hat would have pinned the needle of a butchometer. Although actually I guess that would've required work boots too. Y-M-C-A ...
I'm just repainting it the same green color as before. The old paint had cracked and flaked, so it wasn't protecting the wood anymore. I'd actually like to replace both those little walls on the front steps with brick or stone, but that's a home improvement for another day.
In that case, I guess I should be wearing a hazmat suit rather than a hardhat. I don't suppose you have one lying around in your professional capacity?
