1. Did laundry.
2. Paid housebills.
3. Cleaned bathroom. (It *really* needed it.)
4. Mowed lawn and pruned various plants. (The weather has turned gorgeous.)
5. Bought beer.
6. Am killing time until the big football game: 4th-ranked Oregon vs. 9th-ranked Stanford at 5pm. Can't breathe! Too excited!

It's Stanford 31, Oregon 24 at halftime. I'm exhausted already, and I'm not even playing. Great game, except for the fact that Oregon is behind.

I heard somebody listening to a game, and every time he reacted loudly I felt like leaving another comment "Did something just happen?"

Football is the sport you can really tell when people are watching.

That might have been someone watching the UW-USC game, which was going on at the same time. The UW won on a last-second field goal.

My niece's husband called me twice during the UO game. He and a bunch of buddies were watching the game and drinking the rest of the keg from the b-day party, and feeling no pain.
