I'm in the final stages of packing for Worldcon. What am I forgetting?

I've got some water and soda's for the road in a cooler bag.

I'm also sitting here looking at my packing and wondering what I've forgotten.

I hear that Reno's tolerably civilized, so: medications, if any? Music for the trip? Idiosyncratic personal condiments (if you can only use one type of deodorant/moisturizer/toothpick, did you pack it?)? Chargers for obscure electronics?

Thanks! Hadn't considered music for the roadtrip, but I'm not sure the three of us could achieve consensus on music anyway.

--Business cards (or the social equivalent)?
--Glasses case?

Good list. You've reminded me to put my moleskin and a pen in my cargo pants pocket so I can make notes during the roadtrip. I'm dithering about taking an extra pair of reading glasses in case I break one.

I suppose this applies to you as well; I discovered years ago that I could get along quite well at a Con without whatever it was that I forgot... as long as I had plenty of cash or a checkbook or credit card with a reasonable balance on it. (Caveat: Nevada Casinos & other businesses, including hotels, might tend to refuse personal out-of-state checks, and at least once I had to have such a check cashed by the Convention Treasurer.)

Anytime I am traveling by car I bring a cool mist humidifier. Hotel rooms and casino hotel rooms especially are very dry and make it difficult for me to sleep.
