[livejournal.com profile] crowleycrow has confirmed rumors I had heard from spies within Incunabula that sufficient funding has been secured to proceed with the 25th anniversary edition of Little, Big. This promises to be a magnificent artifact of bookmaking, and I encourage any fans of the book who haven't already done so to pre-order a copy now. But even if, incomprehensibly, you aren't a fan of the book, you should read Crowley's announcement. It's very amusing!

I suppose I really should read that, just to see if I want the anniversary edition to own. Kevin Mahoney makes the useful suggestion that if you and a few of your friends all want to subscribe, if you do it as a group you get a discount per copy.

If you'd like to borrow a copy of the book to give it a try, I'd be happy to loan you my old Bantam trade paperback. The anniversary edition may be worth it just as an art object, but the novel itself is beautifully intricate, mysterious, and elegaic. YMMV, OMGWTF, etBBQ.

Yes, group orders will garner discounts. Five or more Trades are 40% off and also give you the option of getting the top 20% discount on one or more Numbered copies in the same purchase. If you get a group together, let me know, and I'll send you the URL for the special LB25 PayPal discount page.

Ooh, he narced himself, just like A Scanner Darkly! (Or should that be "narcked"?)

But seriously, Ron, many congratulations, and best wishes on the production phase.
