As of today, gays and lesbians can get married in Washington State, and marijuana is legal. There are complications around both laws (partly, in both cases, because of Federal law), but there are complications around all laws. As far as I'm concerned, the world is a better place today, and so I say: Huzzah! Hooray! I'm proud of my state.

Actually, as Orson Scott Card would hasten to point out, Gays and Lesbians were always allowed to marry in Washington (& all other states), absent other disqualifying factors (o'er sib, different races, age of consent, &cet). That's one Gay and one Lesbian per couple, of course.

Well, only marijuana legalization affects me directly, but it really is all good. Better for the people who won't have to go to prison, too.
