I've fallen head over heels for the Symbolists. In trawling the internet I've also seen quite a few great modern paintings in a Symbolist vein. I should post some of those too.

Yeah, I kind of wonder whether that one has been used as a book cover. The wounded angel one looks familiar too. The Duncan almost looks like one of my mom's quilts.
