I've been asked to write a bio for gerisullivan for the Fencon program book. (She's Fan GoH at Fencon this year.) They'd like it to be in a humorous vein, so I'm looking for humorous stories about Fandom's Den Mother. Got one?

Well, I'm pretty humourless, but I did get to shop for alien food at an LACon once.
And Geri's been most supportive around the BOUNTY sinking memorial and my new post as engineer/rigger for OHPRI.org.

In my vast thought experiment (number of test subjects: ONE), Geri happily accepted my (Eli's) cheesecake of comment at a collation party for Idea. It wasn't even her preferred flavor!

I think I'd found the Eli's Cheesecake factory outlet within twelve months of that party, so finding out about Geri's love for them worked out okay. And thanks to LiveJournal, I'd have learned about the outlet soon from Geri, so clearly it was meant to be.
