Dark days

Has anybody else noticed that the days are getting markedly shorter? (Well, except of course for those of you living where the days are getting noticeably longer instead.) Hope this changes soon, as the days are pretty much too damned short around here these days, these days.

I did spare a thought for the Scots when I wrote my whinge post, but since surliminal moved to the soft south (nice phrase!), I don't think anybody on my Friends list is that far north anymore. Still, it's true that even you Reading folks have it worse than we do. Somehow that doesn't make me feel any better!
