What do you think I am, STUPID or somethin'?

Cyd Charisse and her car wash fringe. What a dance.

Yeah, when your car's been washed by Cyd Charisse, it stays washed.

Cyd Charisse was a picture of feminine power in that sequence. And Gene Kelly? I have no words for Gene Kelly. Just a great, big, yearning sigh.

Yeah, I love Charisse's sheer physical power in this movie. She commented on Kelly's physical strength as well. There's something of the athlete in him.

That's one of the reasons he was always my favorite. There's no question that Fred Astaire was powerful and brilliant, but he was always a little effete for me. Kelly was my guy.

Don't know if you were ever much into figure skating, but Elvis Stojko always reminded me physically of Kelly, which made him one of my favorite figure skaters ever.
